Deep within the dream of love
Caution burns
A heat beyond the point of no returns
Deep beyond the thicket and
The grandma tree
The unicorn is grazing on the leaves
You're poised to make yourself so inconsolably alone
No more breadcrumbs lead you home
No more breadcrumbs lead you home
And all your fear is gone
Your calm is spreading through and through
Like you know not what you do
Like you know not what you do
Like all the means to happiness are here
They are here
They are here
Like all the loves you're looking for are near
They are near
They are near
As darkness falls your loosened voice
Will float across the fold
His ears will perk to track the singer
And through the mist and gloam he'll come
Careening 'cross the cold
To sting you with his pure white stinger
Barreling down, careening down
The world bends in his wake
Laws and leaves just tear away
All that fabric tears away
Your eyes all filled with blood
Your heart impaled upon his horn
Now you are the unicorn
Now you are the unicorn
Now all the means to happiness are here
They are here, they are here
Now all the loves you're looking for are here
They are near, they are near
They are near.

I love this album in that I can relate to many of the themes within it. I usually never tear up to music, but this is one of those albums that I can do just that - catharsis. Sufjan Stevens never fails to impress me! yankee_in_stalins_court

I consider this album to be the first music I truly identified with and fell in love with when I was still growing up. Gabriel's music is so easy to sing along to and has such lovely storytelling. This will always have a place in my heart as one of the best most important albums in my life. Cannot recommend enough!! Alejandro Montañez
